Well he is playing The Beast in the new X-Men movie, too...maybe he's going for an image change?
no more so than whatever that movie was a while back where Alanis Morrissette played God. And, of course, Kelsey Grammer has played villain "Sideshow" Bob Terwilliger on the Simpsons for years.
