devil, thy name is C-A-T

I drafted an entire tirade on cats, allergies, asthma and the politics/ethics of bringing cats to work without consulting upon the allergies and results of said allergies on the people who work for you (even IF the cat is being brought in to eat mice). I mean...if you want to pay me not to do my job...I guess that's your decision.

Anyways.

I wrote it. Got it (somewhat) out of my system. And then wrote to our lovely stage manager asking nicely if the cat could disappear for our current hell week (tech week) before we open on Saturday.

And, she wrote me back...and I am so happy, the cat will be gone. Cat's are cute, but they are all little devils in relation to my immune system.

So - a parting request - please pray that my allergy-induced asthma and swolled-up throat would clear up quickly. They are making breathing (much less, say, opera singin') a real beeyotch right now. And I would *really* like to be able to do what I've been hired/contracted/paid to do come Saturday.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some nasal spray to use and SFGiant's traffic to fight.
