One of my mom's favorite sayings when we were growing up was:
"Procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine."A sign with those words hung over the computer in our house. I hated that expression. It made me so made. Especially when I had waited to the last minute to finish a paper . . . and then we ran out of printer paper. Or some such thing.
But. Now. As an adult? In an office? I totally get it - and, there are many times when I am tempted to hang a sign of my own . . .
