This is where I was at this time last year...Saint-Raphael, France. Right on the Cote d'Azur, in between Nice and St. Tropez.

Ahhhhh....ca me manque beaucoup! J'y reviendrai un jour...peut-etre l'annee prochaine, ou peut-etre pour "le retrait" en...quarante ans...hahahah. On ne sait jamais qu'est ce qui se passerait dans la vie....

Protest photos

1. Looking down around 10am...people headed down towards the Ferry Building. 2. I saw this woman walking down the middle of the barricaded Embarcadero...that's the only torch I saw :)
3. Team Tibet - across the street from us...
4. Team China/Olympics/USA etc...also across the street from us.
5. After hearing that the torch was no longer coming down this street - everyone else decided to take to it . . . (this is looking down on them from our 3rd floor windows).

However...I have to report to Jury Duty tomorrow afternoon, and I anticipate having some down time. I'm planning on taking the laptop and posting the photos then (they have free wireless at the courthouse...yay!)
