My Dad introduced me to jazz, and my Mom was so danged eclectic that I can't begin to mention everything she was into... and this was the '50s we're talking about. Mom also fully embraced rock 'n' roll when it emerged, whilst my father rejected it immediately. I learned a lil something there... but not enough for me to be accepting of hip-hop. :D<br /><br />I too enjoy the blues when I'm down. I worked in a pizza place where the juke-box seemed to always be playing "Band on the Run." I remember a lot of Creedence Clearwater Revival playing too.
